Loch Coruisk Wedding | Emma & Stephen

Emma & Stephen threw all the traditions aside for their elopement at Loch Coruisk and crafted a day that was exactly for them. On a sunny Autumn’s day, they got ready together at the stunning and secluded Kinloch Lodge, followed by a game of chess and a pot of tea. We then drove to the charming town of Elgol to take a Misty Isle boat over to Loch Coruisk.

After sharing some special words with each other, Stephen looked down from the rock he and Emma were standing on, into the crystal clear waters below. He told me he wanted to jump into the water.. I didn’t entirely believe him until it had actually happened. It was certainly a moment that I won’t forget anytime soon! On the drive back we pulled up by a waterfall and Emma & Stephen made a picnic fondue to enjoy as the sun set. It was a day full of simple gestures and magic, and a reminder of how beautiful it is when you make space for adventure and spontaneity in your day.
