Kilchurn Castle Scotland Wedding Anniversary | Di & Max

Di & Max visited Kilchurn Castle for their wedding anniversary – a magical spot not far from Glencoe and Oban. They wanted a medieval atmosphere for their photos, so we felt that this was the perfect location for them. It is so lovely to meet couples who continue to celebrate their relationship long after their wedding day. Having photos together is a beautiful excuse for an adventure and a meaningful way to document how far you’ve come together.

A friend of mine who recently left Scotland joked that perhaps everyone should do an exchange year in Scotland. It would teach us that you can’t wait around for sunshine or perfect conditions – you have to go out and embrace it or else you’ll be waiting around for a while. Di & Max did exactly that and embraced the rain and anything else that was thrown at them. It was worth it to have this beautiful spot all to ourselves.

Please note that a permit is required to shoot at Kilchurn castle and also the surrounding land.
