Queenstown, New Zealand

For the past month before our little getaway to New Zealand, my life had been very busy. I had set off to Russia for a few weeks, and the day before flying back to Sydney, I decided to change my flights to fit in a trip to Vienna, and keep riding the wave of emotions and excitement I crave when travelling. After arriving home in Sydney I had 48 hours to spare before flying to New Zealand with my partner to celebrate our six years together. The next morning, on top of a mountain at sunrise, he proposed in a place that was more beautiful than anything I could ever dreamed of. The rest of the trip was about all the things we love – long drives down small winding roads, picnics, sunrises and nature.  So many of my happiest moments have happened when I’m in the mountains, and this trip left me feeling even more in life than I already was. I decided to step back from digital photos on this trip, and use my film camera as an opportunity to slow down and be more selective and present in each moment. Here are a few images I’d like to share with you. x
