A morning in Reykjavik
There is only a small handful of cities that I can say I’ve truly fallen in love with, but Reykjavik showed me how comforting and vibrant a city can truly be. In an effort to see the city from a new perspective, we got up well before the sun and walked around the streets in town. Despite the few hours of daylight, every corner feels warm and cosy with the colourful houses, street art and fairy lights in the windows of most homes. Perhaps this place was made even more special by the fact that we had travelled across most of the globe to get there, but I feel like this is a city that I would instantly feel at home in no matter where in the world I had come from.
