The Cotswolds is such a picturesque and charming part of the UK. For a week in early August, my good friend and I based ourselves in Preston (just outside of Cirencester) and day-tripped to a number of gorgeous towns. These included Barnsley, Bath, Castle Combe, Stroud, and Nailsworth. One of the highlights of the trip was the beautiful Airbnb we stayed in, which was located on a small farm, hidden away from town. With an abundance of fresh apples and a veggie patch for us to pick some fresh produce from for our meals, as well as a friendly group of pigs, we really enjoyed spending a few slow paced afternoons on the property and getting a taste of the small country town lifestyle.
