As the plane came down for landing and I stared through the window looking down on the saturated red soil and the incredible landscape below me, I knew this was going to be something truly amazing. The celebrations kicked off with an early morning swim at Zebedee Springs, followed by the scenic drive out to Kununurra and back to El Questro. Later in the day, Nicola & Matt were married at Pigeon Hole Lookout on the El Questro property surrounded by their closest family (and one epic view!). We then went out and explored the incredible scenery of the Kimberley until dusk, and made some memories that I hope Nicola & Matt will look back on for years to come.
When I look back now, my favourite thing about this day was how relaxed everyone was from start to finish. No pressure or run sheets to follow – it was just a day filled with laughter and good company. I always admire those who are willing to go against society and and show that marriage isn’t about traditions or expectations – it’s about creating a day where two people can come together and celebrate love in a that reflects them as a couple. Thank you again for having me there to capture all of the magic – it truly was a day that I won’t forget.
